The companys advisory software includes VisiWeb, a Web-based financial services solution that caters for multiple organizations, branches, advisers, support staff, and clients; BizmaX, a practice management software for managing diary scheduling, client management, strategic planning, and benchmarking; and Virtual Broker, a financial services solution, which provides desktop functionality to accountants, financial planners, and dealer groups, as well as other financial institutions, including banks. Its middleware solution comprises Plato II, an online trading and settlement system, which enables advisers to provide a range of services, including electronic settlement, real-time updating of contract notes and accounts, online bank accounts, and paperless transactions. IWLs research services include InvestorWeb Research, which provides portfolios to retail clients; investment consulting and a portfolio review service to wholesale clients; and independent equities and managed funds research products to various clients. It also provides research, news, and financial data on diversified investments, primarily on listed ASX securities and Australian managed funds, through InvestorWeb.com.au. The company provides its services to financial advisory groups, financial institutions, and retail and wholesale investors. IWL Limited was founded in 1997 and is based in Melbourne, Australia. As of November 26, 2007, IWL Limited operates as a subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
