It offers businesses, individuals, and groups with language training programs, such as 100 and 50 hours programs, accent reduction training, childrens programs, business programs, ESL and immersion programs, online learning tools, spouse or partner programs, and testing, as well as e-Langua, a language training course that combines the convenience of Web-based learning with the benefits of instructor-led classroom training. The company also provides destination services, such as community orientation, home selection and lease review, school selection, furniture selection, utility setup, assistance with banking, driver's license, insurance selection, and tax ID numbers to expatriate employees; and multi-cultural training services, including expatriate and repatriation training, intercultural training, and workforce learning and leadership development to provide international managers and expatriates families with knowledge, tools, and strategies to adopt and function in the diverse cultural environment. In addition, it provides translation services in various languages; professional voice-over solutions; interpreting services for various projects that range from conference calls and business meetings with multilingual parties to interpretation in the medical or legal industries. The company was formerly known as Langua Tutor and changed its name to Global LT, Inc. in December 2005. Global LT was founded in 1979 and is based in Troy, Michigan with offices in Los Angeles, San Jose, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Boston, London, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
