The companys portfolio of loans comprises commercial, real estate, consumer, automobile, and personal loans; revolving lines of credit to provide short-term financing for accounts receivable, inventory purchasing, trade discounts, and seasonal needs; and commercial real estate mortgages for financing real estate acquisitions or expansion. First National Bank also offers other loans, including term loans for intermediate financing of equipment purchases, business expansion, working capital, accounts receivable, inventory purchases, and trade discounts; and small business administration loans for equipment, owner occupied real estate, inventory purchases, acquisitions, expansions, and working capital. In addition, the company offers overdraft protection plans, and debit/ATM and Visa corporate cards; and trust, financial planning and discount brokerage, Internet banking, merchant bankcard, and night depository services. First National Bank was formerly known as The First National Bank of De Queen and changed its name to First National Bank in August 2007. The company was founded in 1897 and is based in Hot Springs, Arkansas with branches in Central and Southwest Arkansas, and Southeast Oklahoma. First National Bank operates as a subsidiary of First National Security Company.
